experience the power of chiropractic
How the heck does someone even decide to become a chiropractor?
Well, for me it was simple. The proof of chiropractic was in the experience.
Growing up I was a high school and college athlete. I worked hard to be the absolute best athlete I could. After a sports injury and not finding relief from traditional medicine and decided to try a local chiropractor.
After his adjustment I was pain-free and was able to stand up straight. I decided then and there to completely switch career paths.
After researching and experiencing the benefits of chiropractic care firsthand it just made the best kind of sense. I never liked taking medications and appreciated that chiropractic is a drug-free approach.
When you become my patient you will probably hear me say at least once that pain is not a result of an aspirin deficiency in your body. It is a signal that your body is telling you something needs to be fixed. Let's do that first.
It is my pleasure and responsibility to help you discover the power of chiropractic, too.
know what you're getting yourself into
Aside from my daily self-education as a voracious reader and continued education, I have an extensive formal education. It is of the utmost importance that anyone working with your health and well being is properly trained and educated.
My first Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology is from Indiana University-Bloomington.
After that I moved to St. Louis, Missouri where I graduated from Logan University - College of Chiropractic with a Bachelor of Life Science, Master's in Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation, and finally a Doctorate of Chiropractic.
While at Logan, I was a Senior Intern in the Biofreeze Human Performance Center, a clinic that specializes in sport-specific injuries and rehabilitation.
I am board-certified by the National and Indiana Boards of Chiropractic
Using a variety of specific chiropractic and therapy protocols I help patients who are in pain. These allow me and my qualified team to provide a gentle, effective approach to many conditions for people of all ages.

open to miracles
I'd love to share a patient story with you (with her permission, of course). Let's call her Suzy (which is not her real name). Suzy injured her back doing something simple. We've all been there. Standing up from the sofa, she moved just wrong and felt something in her back that she knew just was not right.
Suzy is is only 21. She came in using a walker dragging her leg behind her. She had no feeling or any strength in her leg from the mid-thigh down. Before coming to my office, she went to the ER and had an MRI. She was diagnosed with a herniated disc and told it was considered to be psychosomatic because the disc herniation wasn’t bad enough for it to be causing the weakness she was experiencing in her legs. Suzy was told that something in her personal life must have been causing her issue.
When I started providing her with chiropractic care twice a day for two weeks her mobility began to improve. By the end of the two weeks, Suzy was walking again. It was clearly not all in her head.
While I'm not saying I can guarantee you will walk again if you're not right now, I am saying that by listening to your story, assessing your health and providing chiropractic care and other modalities we can improve your quality of life and sometimes that feels like a miracle.
